Meet Pip

When I discovered yoga I realised there was more to my fitness than slogging for miles on a treadmill or doing jump squats until I couldn’t walk (I mean, don’t get me wrong, I still love a good squat jump!). By slowing down I brought new challenges to my workouts and had more time to connect with my body. I’ve learnt to nurture my body, clear my mind and control my breath and I have grown so much more, physically, mentally and emotionally.

I challenge my clients to think in the same way; to slow down and explore your movement. This holistic approach will allow you to establish and understand the connection between your mind, body and breath, bringing awareness to your energy and wellbeing. This awareness is the key to growing your mind and body.

Privates and Small Groups

I  offer private one-to-one sessions or small group classes in yoga, TRX, HIIT and more. As well as improving your fitness, my focus is on injury prevention so we’ll start slow and build up as your mind and body becomes stronger. I’ll teach you to train in a way that protects your body, encouraging balance and a mix of strength and mobility. I’ve found that this approach is great for beginners and for anyone who wants to advance safely in their current routine. We’ll have fun along the way and when we’re finished you’ll have learnt some interesting new movements to experiment with and challenge yourself.

Strength and Cardio

Whether it is slow, low impact resistance or sweaty, explosive cardio you are looking for I can tailor your workout to keep you challenged and engaged. With the use of different equipment from body weight to resistance bands and kettlebells I will make sure you leave having achieved and grown.

Yoga

I will teach you to set strong foundations and work from your roots up. Each movement that I introduce will be carefully thought out so that they link throughout your practice. My aim, over time, is to improve your mobility and strength. Classes are challenging but fun, and I’m always happy to provide adjustments and progressions to allow you to take a step back or advance when you feel ready to do so.

SUP

My SUP sessions are fun but be prepared to be challenged! You’ll activate your stabilising muscles as you hold your balance and work on your upper body strength. SUP is a great activity if you want to mix up your usual routine or try something new. Whether you’re looking for a hard work out, or as a more meditative, restorative flow, the choice is yours. Either way, the mindful benefits of being out on the water and close to nature will fill you with positivity. TRX

In my TRX sessions you will be trained in a full range of functional movements to develop your strength, stability and mobility. On top of this, each movement will train your core, which will help you move more easily during your day-to-day activities. I guarantee you will be feeling stronger with every session!

Come with an open mind, willing to move your body in new ways and you’ll leave feeling positive and ready to take on whatever life throws at you!
